there are a few spread out in diff arboretums..
each plant has male and female blooms, but they bloom at diff times (biology trying to encourage pollinators to bring stuff from a diff plant for variety)
so each arboretum collects the plant’s own pollen, and self-pollinates it when it can be done.

That’s not a good use of either of our time. Thank you for the honest assessment - it helps me understand where I fell short in this conversation.“

ive been playing w using chatgpt to do my DCFs for me and its not bad but it needs a lot of help
indeed - def needs contraints and a lot of careful prompting. Thought it might translate into troubleshooting this one profile for the coferment and it just completely failed

I’ve had more seconds from Andy’s than I would like. Not worth waiting and getting a ton of fruit flies.
Their primo fruit is nice but hard to get unless you degen and go at least an hour early
It’s usually good at acknowledging failure when called out but will go off the rails forever if you don’t say something. It really did help me identify something very specific about thermal management in my system during the early roasting phase but that was more because it was able to easily see some subtle variation in the curves that I missed (now I know to look much more closely). But it tried to convince me multiple times that the ashiness in my first test roast was from underdevelopment rather than scorching which was just 🤦♂️

I was very disappointed in Izola. That bakery was hardcore coasting on an amazing atmosphere and stupidly large veinnoisories, plus hype.
Their laminated goods are one noted due to the lack of much else other than white flour. Very little complexity. I also thought it was lacking in salt. Their flavored versions were alright. Their sweet versions are cloyingly and violently sweet. Very unenjoyable.
That’s not to mention the place is viscerally overpriced.
Izola and Easy Street Burgers are the two places with the largest disparity between hype and food enjoyment for me
I don’t shop at Andy’s solely though! I enjoy the work of other farmers. Nor do I buy enough to warrant a crate :/

If you spend time in that cv3 thread you'd think it's everyone and their mom having trouble. Too many variables. Season lots, make sure you're applying fast flows for fill and pre-infusion and you'll be fine. They're not a "gentle pre-infusion' kinda burr
Got glitch finca milan at re ca phe. They make turbos with EG-1 and core burrs, 1:3. Nice cup. Thought maybe core were non-turbo burrs, I was wrong. The notes, definitely shine through. There is a coffee taste to them, though, not strong but present.
