Interesting to hear, both the 1:16 V60 I made last week and the 1:3 soup shot today were great, juicy acidity without brown. And I'm usually kinda sensitive to UL grassy/peanut flavors like with the Aviary 005 OTL and Sept Jose Jijon EL. Maybe it's down to water and setup, I'm using 35/50 water for everything

I was surprised how big it was though. For a home machine or a mobile setup I’d probably go DE1.

As a De1 owner currently I would rather use the es1 for home 🤷‍♀️

The lack of tactility in the touch points on the De1 makes espresso not interesting after a year of trying diff profiles

Es1 feels nicer, has tactile touch points, better pump, ability to steam simultaneously

At 10k thou it's def not a easy choice vs 4k

Totally fair. I just feel like after having my Bianca for awhile I’d like something with a smaller footprint.

Also if I’m honest I didn’t use the es1 machine and had one from tectonic instead that was pretty under-extracted.

I had a nice convo with the milkadamia barista though. I thought it was great she was using an Oscar and pinecomb while surrounded by all the twenty thousand dollar setups.

The kicker is that her latte was one of the better ones though.

Also got some greens samples. So that was nice.

Yeah 90% of it was cafe oriented imo and it was specifically cafe logistics nothing else really
