Have you tried unclogging your steam wand or running a cleaning cycle through it?
A video would also help with diagnosing the issue
Yeah I screwed the end off poked the holes out, ran descaling and flush cycles twice each. I'll get a video up in a bit - thanks!

What happened when you ran cleaning and flushing cycles through the wand?
@soft yew how are you descaling the machine?
Descaling cycle, used a tab in the main tank of water. The cycle pushed water through the wand fine
You're supposed to put the tab in the portafilter lmao
You don't use the tab for the descale

Clearly incorrectly... So have I broken the machine as a result?
This is for the portafilter cleaning cycle not descale
Not broken, just not descaled 🤣
Use half white vinegar and half water up to max line and follow this video

@soft yew try the proper cleaning cycle and descale cycle to see if that fixes things
Wow yeah, ok. I legit had no idea what the rubber disc was for 🤦♂️
That means I've never properly cleaned it in like 3 years
Hopefully this fixes things. What we don't want is clogged pipes or broken solenoid valve.
LMAO
The puzzle pieces are all coming together now
Might have to do a few cycles if it's been that long btw
Yeah I'm leaving the vinegar solution in there instead of swapping it out during the rinse part
Sort of amazing it's lasted this long. Good thing I use filtered water I guess
Yeah, you're about to see some brown water
@soft yew the machine should come with one descaling solution if you haven't used it yet
I don't think I have that but I'll look
Nothing brown came out at all, the vinegar solution was just barely a bit cloudy
Should be the mineral deposit
Probably not brown because you did some sort of cleaning
How was the steam wand during the descaling? Was liquid coming out?
Yeah plenty of water jetting out, but same issue now trying to get hot steam to come out. Actually less - no steam made it out this time
Water coming out is good, probably just descale it a few times.
Might need 3-4 times if it's been that long
What descaling solution do you recommend? Anything, or stick to vinegar water?
Any of them work
Only reason I don't use vinegar water is that I don't like the smell 😂
At this point, nothing at all is coming out of the wand when I turn the dial to steam 🤔 I have ordered some proper descaler
It just comes out the bottom
Like the over pressure release valve or whatever
Ahahaha, is it all good now?
yes I think so - literal small pieces of mineral deposit came out of the wand tip. Thanks for your help!
No probs 😁
You can also drop the tip in a vinegar solution overnight and then wash it to make everything is out
