Hi all,
Been having some issues with my BDB BES900XL. It started with a loud buzzing noise, pressure gauge going all crazy, and now no pressure. I replaced all O rings, descaled the solenoid valve and replaced the group head gasket. Should I replace the solenoid valve, or look into replacing the pump?

Shrill buzzing sounds like the solenoid. Sometimes the valve portion is fine but the magnetic black portion goes wonky.
Very odd to hear some semblance of pump sound halfway through the clip but nothing else. Based on what you mentioned with the pressure gauge going crazy then suddenly no pressure, does sound like the pump is dead or the circuitry controlling the pump died.
Suggest checking the error log on your machine for more insight as well

Solenoid valve coil is failing
Easiest solution is to replace the whole thing, this happens seemingly all the time with the BDB solenoid

As was described to me - it's the shading ring that lets it work on AC that fails on these coil blocks.
