Let me show you something

I like my floral aromas, it my main jam. I freeze my bean at 7-10 days post roast like a good boy should, vacuum sealed in the freezer. But when I pull them out (a few weeks later), the wonderful smells are largely gone. I'm new to this, but I'd say 7 of 7 of my fancy beans have clearly had this. I've read the wiki and the MCA article, i'm doing just what it says. My freezer is -18C. Nobody mentions this as a thing, but for me it is really prominent. Anyone else have this problem?

I’ve also had beans lose a lot of flavor after freezing

So my problem is that I consume about 14 grams of beans a day, but I usually have three different beans I'm trying out. Variety is the spice of life, na'mean. At that rate, I'd have a lot of beans going bad if I didn't freeze portions, but in my limited experience, freezing definintely isn't keeping them fresh either.

Maybe I try those oxygen absorbing packets? I guess home nitrogen packing isn't a thing.
