Hey doodoo, I totally get it, that can be annoying aesthetically. There are basically three things you can do: replace the group gasket if it's worn down with the same size gasket, or replace the gasket with a thicker version, or add a paper washer to push the group gasket a bit lower and force more compress earlier in the rotation
We received a batch of RED versions. This fits all commercial Gaggia equipment and most home models, but one should measure the height of the existing gasket from their really old Gaggia home machines, such as the Baby, Coffee and Espresso models, as they may have a much thinner gasket that unfortunately is unavailable
