#Can we please rebalance these crafting orbs to not all have inane downsides?

The grind for gear is already kind of silly, we're not going to trivialize anything by having our scant orbs we already have to farm for drain potential we have to budget when it does literally, actual nothing to the item.

Orb of Digging is a particularly silly example of this. It doesn't need to just fail outright. There's no fun in that. Sure, corruption affixes are potent, so those orbs can keep their risk, but even those are a bit harsh given you're not using them on things you put energy into. Destroying the item? That's extreme for no good reason, even PoE doesn't do that to you unless it's some special version of corrupting an item like at the temple.

Please consider.

I've failed more Orb of Digging than Wheel of Fortune in Balatro

Yes, I think some orbs need a rework asap. To me, orb of imperfection is the most useless one in the pack 😂

I would never attempt to use it unless one of these conditions were met:

  1. The added % were much higher.
  2. The negative part were: "Do nothing" and, in exchange, cost some potential to use.
  3. The negative part % were much lower.

Item destruction shouldn't be an option on any currency.

I'm kind of ok with it on the one that rerolls corruption affixes

That seems kind of like a no brainer
