Hi, I’m trying to self-host Appsmith CE on my Synology NAS using Docker. Unfortunately, the embedded MongoDB won’t run due to missing AVX support, and the external MongoDB container also keeps crashing.

Describe the issue:
I’m trying to run Appsmith CE on my Synology NAS using Docker, but the embedded MongoDB fails to start because my CPU does not support AVX instructions. I also tried running an external MongoDB container (bitnami/mongodb:4.4), but that container keeps crashing on my NAS as well. Because of this, Appsmith cannot connect to any working database and the app fails to start properly.

Context:
My goal is to self-host Appsmith CE on Synology NAS (with Docker) and connect it either to the embedded MongoDB or to an external MongoDB container so that the application can run normally.

Which version of Appsmith you are using?
I am using Appsmith CE v1.85 (Docker image: appsmith/appsmith-ce:latest).

Reproduction:
1. Deploy appsmith/appsmith-ce in Docker on Synology NAS.
2. Appsmith logs show the error: “AVX instruction not found in your CPU. Appsmith’s embedded MongoDB may not start. Please use an external MongoDB instance instead.”
3. Deploy bitnami/mongodb:4.4 as an external DB.
4. That MongoDB container immediately restarts/crashes on Synology NAS.
5. Appsmith container keeps restarting because no working DB is available.
