When are you getting this error? Please help us with the following information

  1. What is your current Appsmith version?
  2. Provide screenshots/screen recordings of the datasource confiuration and API.
  3. Add details about your use case and provide steps to reproduce the issue, if
    possible.

Sorry for the silly question but have you authorised the database?
If you go to datasource -> edit and scroll down to save and re-authorise.

Also, when you created your credentials on the Google platform, did you add the test users?

I had a similar problem and this had solved it.

How can I edit an existing data source?

If you expand the Datasources section of the left side bar you'll see a button
that says Show all datasources at the bottom of the section.
