Installing older version with helm. | Appsmith | Page 1

Hi Folks.
I am trying to install appsmith in k8 env (with helm). Documentation points to command
helm install appsmith appsmith/appsmith --namespace <your-namespace>
It default installs the most recent released version (1.9.5). What can i do to get older version say 1.7.9 ?

Hello! Could you please elaborate on your use case and why you need to get the
older version? We recommend users to use the most recent release which include
many bug fixes and new features.

We had been using appsmith 1.7.9 (as docker) in one of the VMs, We want to migrate it to K8 env. The backed up data is failing to restore on latest released version (1.9.5).

Could you please send us the server logs to help us investigate the issue? You
can grab the logs by running docker logs -f appsmith.
Or you could follow the steps from this guide on how to get the
logs
