Here is the query returning the value and the label selection list.
Here is the widget with the labels showing
This makes absolutely no sense to me, and it just started happening.
Thanks for any insights into this...
Weird we didn't make any change. Can you share the code for optiosn in the select widget?
No, not this. The part that is written in the property pane for options
What is the code you are using there?
This is a VERY involved Page with lots of stuff going on. It feels like I finally achieved a breaking point or something like that. One thing I did do... I deleted a query that was no longer used ... I think this started happening right after I did that.
Here's some more Error Log information:
I might not be available to debug right now. @zinc island can you please help in debugging this?
talking to Joseph ... will break free in a few minutes.
Oh, you can ask him to help
No, he was asking about freelancing... He says you are a great resource for this...
I'd love to talk now.
whoever can help is great. I cannot figure it out.
It is something squirrely happening with the Select Widget.
- I created a new select widget with the same configuration as existing
- I changed the Table to use the new select widget as the parameter. This worked.
- I then deleted the old select widget and renamed the new widget to the old widget's name.
- The new widget then no longer worked.
So, I did this again and I have it working. I have not renamed the widget. This is really strange, but the key is to get it working. This is pretty much the linch pin of my entire body of work for this client. If this does not work... the App will be of little value.
Just to clarify, is it critical to rename the widget to the old name?
No it is not. I'm not going to rename it if it breaks the page.
So your issue was resolved by copying the select widget?
You might say that... actually I did not copy it, I just created a new one with the same properties ... may just be semantics
That distinction makes a difference, thanks for sharing the solution!
Thanks for your continuous support and patience. We hope your issue is resolved
now.
Let us know how did we do?
