I will share screenshots in a sec, but basically I would drag folders into another one both individually or as a group and it says file is in use

They have a feature that'll tell you which app is using a file

Downloading it right now, I tested something, moving different folders and it worked fine. Could it be the name that's causing an issue?
The folder I tried to move things into is named 2023 the folders are named 23-1 (and so on for each month)

I think the specific feature is called File Locker
It'll tell you which process is locking the file. It might very well be Files but I guess we'll know shortly 🙂
