It's would be on the Home page, If it not there then enable it in Files settings > General > Widgets

I have:
HOME
Pinned
Drives
Cloud Drives
Network Drives
Tags
Each (except HOME) can be collapsed or expanded with a carrot symbol

Found the Widget|Recent Files (already clicked on)

also found quick access turned ON - but not see anywhere.

It doesn't show on the sidebar on on the home section

Does quick access seem to be almost the same as pinned? with a few extra??

BTW - how (when) does the folder list get updated
did a couple of quick selections
and does not seem to update

i used both FILES and WIN Explorer to seek new folders - neither updated

It copies Windows File Explorer. I don't know how it determines what recent folder is though.
