Running into this error when using the installer. Haven't been able to figure out what the prereq is that I'm missing...

Have you install a unofficial (like Atlas OS) or modified (like disabled windows update, removed the Microsoft store, used a debloat program/script etc.) version of Windows?

Oh, I guess I disabled windows update actually. But I haven't removed the store or anything crazy like that

Windows update and delivery optimisation is need to install dependences of Files. You can turn it off again after

Okay, trying to toggle Windows update is a byzantine process so I'm just going to use another app I guess. But thank you for your help
