#Deleting folders takes a long time

It seems like whenever I try to delete some folders or just a large amount of them, it takes a very very long time to start and is also pretty slow once it does.
Windows Explorer does it as fast as always. I have two drives, both SSDs.
I've also tried non-permanent delete and it takes the same amount of time to move it to the Recycle Bin.

Any help would be appreciated! I really wanted to move away from the default File Manager but so far Files has been decently slow for me even though my computer is pretty beefy and it's not consuming many resources at all.

EDIT: I also tried restarting the computer which did nothing.

It's much faster now... I tried uninstalling Files (the non-Insider build) and it seems to have become faster? Might just be coincidence. I'll keep monitoring it and update this thread accordingly in case anyone has a similar issue.

Still decently slow. In general too. Guess that wasn't it. MenheraThink3

Are you in the folder of files being delete? If so try leaving the folder when deleteing them.

Hello, Files is impressive for the features it has, but it is really slow to delete or move files in bulk or a large compressed file.
