What happens if you refresh? Where is the folder located with the shortcuts?
Files Settings > Advanced > Set as default. Not all programs will work with the set as default. This is a Windows limitation.

Back to the second question. Is this download menu not fixable? I put "files" in the main menu

Not unless Microsoft allows third party manager officially. Files currently use a workaround that doesn't always work.

I think I've figured out what the problem is with the lack of icons. If you take the desktop, I added icons via shell:AppsFolder. I looked, other folders are showing icons
I haven't had time to fully sample the "files", but I can say that the program is very aesthetically pleasing, thanks for the implementation. +vibe
