what should i study to understand directus

I already know about graphql, reactJS, restAPI, express, some code automation with plopjs, I'm taking a course now that will teach me about apollo client/server, although I've used it before, and I'll also learn a little about knex , I think this is used in directus

but I wanted ideas on what to study to master and better understand how directus works so I can use it in the best way and maybe even help with its development
