Show total count of linked refs, even when filtered | Logseq | Page 1

Currently the backlink options disappear when the mouse isn't hovering over that part of the screen. This can cause a problem because if filters are active, it isn't clear to the user.

Suggestion: instead of just listing the number of shown backlinks next to the text saying "linked references" list the number shown and the total number. So, instead of "8" say "8/15".

I think there should be an option to show if the user wants to see it at all times.
I looked for a way to apply that hiding behavior to query views because when a query is set and the filters are set, I often don't need to see all the extra UI elements that make up the query and filtering systems. A focus on my content/data rather than the system is essential.

I think it is essential that people know that not all their data is being shown. You might set a filter one year and look at the page a year later, and forget. There could perhaps be a more discrete way to do this, but it is essential that it not be completely hidden. Even a colored dot next to the text saying "linked references" would be something!

Actually, I have a better idea. They should change the number count. Instead of saying "8" it should say "8/13" showing both how many are being shown and how many there are in total!
