What would the Kanban view be made of?
Will it use outlined node? or properties? or both?

I basically imagine kanbans as working like the "card view" in tables - except that items are arranged in columns by properties. And like tables you can choose which properties are displayed and which are hidden.
It might be nice for some workflows to have an outline, but for me the main use would be for status based workflows in which case properties make more sense.
