iPhone Upgrade Advice

Hey everyone, I’m currently trying to decide between the iPhone 15 Pro and the iPhone 16 Pro, and I’d really appreciate some advice from people who have used either phone.
I’ve been doing some research and watching reviews, but I’m still unsure which one would be the better choice for me. I’m mainly looking for a phone that has good battery life, strong performance, a great camera, and something that will last me for several years without slowing down.
My situation:
I currently have an iPhone 11 Pro with 75% maximum capacity. I mainly use my iPhone for social media platforms (Instagram, Discord, Pinterest, and Reddit), Microsoft Apps as well, and education apps as well. I would prefer to
A few things I’d really like help with:
• Is the iPhone 16 Pro a noticeable upgrade over the 15 Pro?
• How do they compare in terms of battery life and everyday performance?
• Are the camera improvements worth the extra money?
• Is there any reason to save money and go with the 15 Pro instead?
• Are there any problems or downsides with either phone that I should know about?

The 15 Pro and 16 Pro are not bad phones and are great upgrades from your 11 Pro, but iPhone 16 Pro is honestly the best option here. It has better battery and performance than the 15 Pro, the thermals are better, and overall the 16 Pro is a more refined and well rounded device. The newer 16 Pro is also expected to get more support. I have a 16 Pro, and it's very reliable.

I'd also suggest getting the 256GB version for better future-proofing, as 128GB is probably going to be a problem in a few years.

The iPhone 15 Pro is the bare minimum I can recommend in 2026, anything lower is not a good option.

Hello! I strongly recommend you to buy the 16 Pro, as it’s still a new and powerful iPhone. It has the A18 equipped which offers a great range of performance, it can run the latest software and it will get around 5-6 years more of support. Also it supports Apple Intelligence, it has 120Hz display which offers the best experience to the user. I suggest getting the 256GBs storage as you can keep it for more years and have a more comfortable usage. It also supports the action button and the camera control button, and it has a Dynamic Island. In my opinion it’s still a great phone to use in 2026 and the differences you will notice comparing with the 17 Pro are barely noticeable. 😄
