Iphone 13 vs 14

Hi guys, i am looking between the iphone 13 and 14. If i were the get the 13, it would have a new battery so 100% capacity whilst the 14 would have a minimum of 85%. The difference between the 2 is that the 13 would be £3 less so what would you guys advise please

Neither. 13 isn't very well specced for the modern day, and the 14 is just a meh phone.

I'd spend the extra on a 16e instead, maybe a 15 Pro. Never go below an iPhone 15 Pro, and ideally get a 16/17 series.

If you cannot afford a 15 Pro or higher, either save some more money till you can afford it, or, if you're really desperate, get a 13 Pro or maybe base 14 anyway.

Keep in mind when purchasing older devices you have limited time for which you will receive the latest software updates

This. Also part of the reason why I'd recommend an iPhone 15 Pro or higher in 2026.

If you’re already going to be spending a decent amount of money, it’s more worth it to save a bit more and get a new device compared to waste that money on a device that’s only going to Suffice for a couple years at maximum.

I'd only recommend those older devices if you have a really tight and strict budget and you're absolutely desperate and are unable to use your current phone for any longer (such as if it's broken)
