Iphone 17 or 16 pro max

Hello, I need help in deciding to either buy iphone 17 or iphone 16 pro max. In my country the pro max costs 150 euros more

like the 18mp selfie camera

the phone you should get depends on your needs though

any 16 or 17 series phone is worth it, 15 Pros are harder to recommend, base 15 / 15 Plus and below is a massive no

You’re not completely screwed out of telephoto with the 17, it has a 2x telephoto

Oh yeah, I came from a 13 Pro Max to a 16 Pro. The 16 Pro Max was too big for me

I thought about it for a bit longer. I think i will buy the iphone 17 pro because plan on keeping this for like. 4-5 years

Because if you think about iphone 15 just came out do 2 years ago basically and it already doesnt have all the feature available. And i know the apple intelligence sucks but the point still stands

17 is still a great phone but if you plan on keeping it for 4-5 years or more, then the 17 Pro might be better for longevity mainly due to the extra RAM

Yea because spending basically 1000 on a phone and 2 years later there is real possibility it wont full features would be a lot disappointing

Hopefully that shouldn't be the case for the 17 though - it'll probably still have full features for the next 3-4 years or so

Easily 17, You get a better/similar chipset to 16 pro max, similar battery life, and you won't even notice that your using a base 17 until you flip and check the cameras, the cameras are also pretty similar, if you don't need some pro features of camera, it will do the job pretty great for casual photos & videos. But here's the real thing, You might get year of extra software update over the 16 pro max, I think you should decide based on the size, design and colors, if you like any colors from those phones, just go for them, but as your using a 13 mini, I think 17 would be a go to, you won't like the big size of the pro max.
