Hi - I have a user who's upgraded to ios 26.0 on release using an iPhone 12. Whenever they receive a call and the caller leaves a voicemail, the message won't appear until after the phone has been rebooted. Voicemails that have been viewed before will still show with out needing to reboot.
We have attempted closing / reopening the phone app (for testing, this didn't work anyways), checked for carrier updates, checked for software updates, enabled/disabled data roaming, verfied call forwarding is not enabled, there is not excessive amounts of voicemail - the user only has 1-2 at a time and she doesn't keep them long, verified wifi calling is not enabled, the user doesn't use focus modes on the phone
Does anyone have any idea what could resolve the issue? This happened last year as well with the same phone and the issue was resolved by replacing the SIM card.
