not sure if it’s the 16 pro or what cause i’ve seen multiple ppl have battery issues w this phone, but i feel like it drops like literally so fast with barely any apps running in the background and because it drops so fast i have to charge it more which gets me more cycles which takes down the over all health .. it went 93% and i got it in february so im not really sure if there is anything i can do cause i dont wanna have to be plugged in all day but it goes down even when im not using it so any solutions would be helpful

Under Settings > Battery > View all Battery Usage, what does it show? Can you share a screenshot?
Also Settings > Screen Time > See All App & Website Activity, can you share a screenshot there?
Then under Settings > Battery > Battery Health, what is the %?
i set my charge limit to 80 cause ppl told me it would help but why is my phone dropping to 20% after around 3 hours of using it..?
like what
Looks like you have horrid cell service like me. That eats battery. So does screen brightness and haptics.
cell service can cause battery to drop?
I stopped the 80% cause I was tired of being forced to charge my 15 Pro cause it was down to 20% frequently.
poor cell service, yes
haptics as in like the clicks when u type and such
cause i’m mostly on silent mode
Yes
Does your phone vibrate at all? THat is haptics
oh
I learned recently from JimScard (don't want to ping him) that keeping your phone on the charger is actually better for the battery health. Takes longer for the battery cycles to tick up. So I put my phone to 100% and it lives on the charger pretty much these days.
Learned that this week
that’s so annoying though to connect to the charger constantly
is it mainly with the pro phones cause all the pro max ppl say how wonderful theirs is
I can see that.
Not sure I just have the 15 Pro cause the Pro Max is too big for my hands.
Could also be tiktok doing crazy things in the background or another app hanging out in the background when it shouldn't be.
oh
TikTok is a massive battery hog, and I mean massive
right cus why does an hour take 26%
I use youtube shorts so I wouldn't know - explains it then.
same, Discord is also heavy on battery but TikTok is probably even worse, but then again I don’t use TikTok
so basically the solution is charge all the time to loose less cycles
even when i’m at school it drops to like 50% from 80 lord
definitely gonna get a pro max next time i get a new phone
Yeah or turn off the 80% limit and stop using TikTok
