De-Sync between recognize music toggle on control center and the Shazam app My song history page

So back sometime in the ios17 days they built Music Recognition into iOS - that’s what you’re using if you use the “Music Recognition” control in control panel.

But the app still exists (for other reasons) but strictly speaking, it’s unnecessary.

The trick is getting the History in sync.

I remember it was a pain when i first did it

Then I uninstalled the app and never looked back.

I've had the Music Recognition control center toggle since the iOS 14 days.

That did the trick I guess music recognition was switched off in the iCloud settings
