Can’t read or erase disk

Hey guys so my MacBook randomly froze at me I restarted it but rn it showing me the file thiging on the screen and then I got to recovery to re-download Mac OS but it’s not reading the disk and I can’t even erase it look

I also can’t activate my disk

Idk abt mountain lion

but on sequoia or tahoe

u would go into recovery mode

and then open disk utility

and in the menu bar u go View > Show all drives (or smth like that)

then erase the drive

you hard drive might've stopped working which means you probably need to buy a replacement

you might need to erase the disk from disk utility and create a new partition so you can install macos. it won’t show up in the installer because you have no partitions

It won’t let me erase it

Nor create its saying it’s too small but it’s not

click on view and click the button that says something like show all volumes
