#Tried to update to ios 26 now phone says no power and when plugged in wont charge

My phone thinks it has no power but i chaeged it all night and it does recieve power. it shut off halfway thru update. Can i restore the iphone while it is ihas no power?

Or you can just plug it in and do the recovery too. The computer will charge it while recovering

That’s not how you boot into DFU

iPhone 8 or later, including iPhone SE (2nd generation and later): Press and quickly release the volume up button. Press and quickly release the volume down button. Then, press and hold the side button until you see the Connect to computer screen.

I was installing the beta right, had about 70% battery. After it finished phase one my phone said it was dead, and was effectively bricked. So I had to use DFU to restore back to iOS 18.5. After restoring, I tried again and this issue occurred again, so I think there is something wrong with beta 1 where specific devices just don’t work with it. My phone is literally just not compatible

You need to do a hard reset, once the screen goes black, hold the side button and the volume down button for about 5 seconds, then let go of the side button and continue to hold the volume down button for another 10, that should enter DFU mode
