How do you use your phone?
Also, iOS usually does background tasks after updating or setting up a new device. This can take up to a week.
This is my screen time plus i won’t let my phone go below 20% and I charge my phone 3~4 times a days is that good?
Games are extreme battery hogs so no surprise your battery isn’t great. Social media apps are also not very efficient.
Ohok , will they fix it in ios 26 update?
I don’t think the newer iOS versions will help much. It’s the problem of the apps and games you’re using — not iOS itself
Only fix is to get off Instagram and Battlegrounds lol
And maybe spend a little less time on YouTube as well. No iOS update will fix an app or game annihilating battery.
Best practice is to plug your phone in whenever you can, especially overnight when it needs to be plugged in, locked and connected to WiFi in order to do maintenance processing. It’s worst the first week after installing/upgrading because it has to process everything; it typically calms down after that.
And, if you’re able to, it’s best to plug the phone in when playing games, since graphics-intensive apps like games have a lot of processing = use a lot of energy. I keep my phone plugged in, e.g., when I’m at home watching TV and playing games, since, once it reaches the set charging limit, it stops using the battery and just runs off of the incoming power from the charger.
Thanks for the advice
I’m a esports player of battleground , my team gifted my a new iPhone 16 pro max bc of my hardwork and achievement, and this game got me a new phone so I couldn’t let this game off…. I like everything about my iPhone expect the battery consumption
