Y’all my uncle is giving me his iPad he says he never uses it and can I log him out of his Apple Account and then factory reset it or do I have to factory reset it with the apple account

Yes, you can log him out of his Apple ID first and then factory reset the iPad. Here’s the best way to do it:

Step 1: Sign Out of Apple ID (Remove Activation Lock)
1. Open Settings > Tap [Your Uncle’s Name] at the top.
2. Scroll down and tap Sign Out.
3. If prompted, enter his Apple ID password to turn off Find My iPad (this removes Activation Lock).
4. Tap Sign Out again to confirm.

Step 2: Factory Reset the iPad
1. Go to Settings > General > Transfer or Reset iPad.
2. Tap Erase All Content and Settings.
3. If needed, enter the device passcode and confirm.

After this, the iPad will restart like new, and you can set it up with your own Apple ID!
