I've cleaned up the ipad's charging port. I've tried different chargers. I've left to charge for 7 hours. There's no change.
The only thing that it can do is that it shows a low battery icon and a charger icon if I press and hold the power button.

Batteries are usually not as bad as some other things. I always get AppleCare+ to minimize costs.
