The yellowing is most likely from age
Idk abt the sim tray thing, it looks like it’s there to hold it in place

Oh well problem kinda solved lol
Idk if alcohol will get into the sim, but this is what a google search got (this is not the ai so it’s not completely unreliable)

To clean the dirt that might accumulate around the SIM tray opening, use a soft lint-free cloth and place a very small amount of rubbing alcohol on it
