I wanted to restart my Mac and suddenly this message came up:

„Your Computer restarted because of a problem. Press any key or wait a few seconds to continue starting up“

After a few seconds this message appears:

support.apple.com/mac/startup

Then it goes back to the first message again.
Ultimately the Mac no longer starts up.

I worked with it for years and this happend all of the sudden.

What can I do ? Please help

Can you boot into recovery mode?

#

As I am assuming that “for years” means Intel it is Command+R

Wow thanks for the fast answer. Unfortunately no, nothing works

Oh, is there any chance of liquid damage?

Also no, I never drank on the Mac

Ok, seems like a hardware issue. I would get it checked

I have to say I wanted to update the new version for the last few days but it didn't work. It only charged 5 millimeters and stayed that way until the next day. So the software is not up to date

#

Could it be the reason ?

Software not being updated shouldn’t cause that

Ah okay. So should I have it repaired?

Get it checked and see if it is necessary

#

Hopefully it is a software issue and not a hardware one
