I would like to switch over to an iPhone but am unsure of which model to get. I would like to know which model is the most worth it.

Things to note:

  • I have to save up from my part time job → I don't have a massive budget
  • I would like a model without a home button
  • With 0.5 lens (if possible)
  • Type C would be amazing (if the 15 is really worth it I could save up for it)

Do you have a exact budget amount?

I'd say around ¥100,000 (±670 USD)

Beside the 0.5 lens, is there anything else that it’s important for your phone to have?

I just want a phone that has most, if not all of the recent features

#

Would you say saving up for a 15 is a better idea than to just get a 13?

In that case, you may want to save up for the iPhone 15. As you'll get a lot of features without having to pay for the Pro iPhone.

only downside for you is the 13 has lightning

#

but other than that the phones are pretty much the exact same not a huge difference btwn them

The 14 is also lightning right?

#

only the 15 has type C as of now?

So if you plan on transferring data from your iPhone to your Mac, that might be something to take into consideration

wicked bluff
#

is that something you do frequently? i've never heard of my friends doing it before

No, some Professionals record using ProRes (an Apple video format) to a SSD. Which 3.0 makes possible. Or they transfer large ProRaw pictures to their Mac.

#

You’ll probably be fine with the USB-C on the 15 Plus if you don’t transfer files.
