I’ve had my AirPods Pro 2 for a little over a year now. I originally had turned off the charging case sounds because it annoyed me, but I want to turn it again because idk. However, when I go to turn on the sounds it says it’s on, but it’s not. And it’s also grayed out. Is there anyway to fix this?

Forget the airpods from your device and reset the airpods case
you can do this by leaving the case open with the airpods in it and holding the back button for 15 seconds till to turns orange

It doesn't work that way because apple care is linked to the serial number
When you reset the airpods, the serial number doesn't change.
