Hey!

On my M1 Pro 14" MacBook Pro, the battery health on the mac has not changed in system settings since April (83%), but when running Coconut Battery, it shows 78.9%.

Is there a way to force-refresh macOS battery health?

macOS and Coconut Battery calculate battery health differently. I personally find Apple’s to be more accurate.

^ I wouldn’t worry about battery health that much. It’s just a scare to try and get people to fix their batteries often.
Just replace it when you get significantly less battery life than expected

Only consider getting it replaced if system settings says it needs service. Otherwise, you’re fine
