These are the options i consider:

Macbook Pro M1 2020
Macbook Air M2 latest

I do web development in React / Angular, photo & video editing in Adobe software.

Hi @hard tree! May I ask what the unified memory and storage you're looking to get for both of those machines? My initial suggestion based on your use cases (especially the video editing) is to get the M2 chip.

I see, in that case if you're looking to save money the M1 will be plenty.
