#Short standby battery life on iPhone 13 Pro

Hi @valid mica! Can you quantify how much it is losing? Is it connected to wifi or cellular? Have you noticed it getting physically hot to the touch at all? When did this start happening?
Also what version of iOS are you on.
Huh it’s always kept on Wi-Fi. It’s not hot and I am running the latest version of iOS 16.
@lean sage
Can you tell me more about how much battery is dropping on stand by?
Well I do loose around 5-9 % overnight
That's really not bad at all. Was there a point in time where it was significantly less with the same device?
Not really but my iPad only drops by 1-2 %
Did anything change recently you can think of that caused it to drain faster -- such as update to iOS, new apps, change in usage behavior?
There’s more apps but I have background refresh disabled
Maybe a change in usage behaviour
Depending on the apps and your privacy settings they can use the radios while in stand by. I'd go through Settings > Privacy & Security > Check each category and which apps are using it. Fine tune this to your liking, and if you're aiming for maximum standby time be aggressive.
Apps you don't use just uninstall all together.
I have a lot of shop apps where I could just take a screenshot of the cards
Anything that will use wifi (location services, bluetooth, etc) will impact battery. If you want an all around improvement you can always enable Low Power Mode in Settings > Battery. It will reduce functionality of your phone but it does work.
I also have an Apple Watch connected may that affect something
