Greetings! I have a big problem, I have 15 GB worth of messages in my iCloud, and I have no idea how to delete them. If you know how to delete all of these from iCloud, please let me know because I need this storage for other things. Feel free to let me know how to do it on any platform, but please specify if it isn't obvious.

Hi @vivid basalt! I'll show you how to do this on your iOS device. Go into Settings > Apple ID (top entry, has your name) > iCloud > Manage Account Storage > Messages > Top Conversations. In here you will see a list sorted from greatest to least sized conversations. Tap the "Edit" in the top-right, select all the conversations you want to delete, then tap the trash bin icon in the top-right. This will permanently delete the message history from iCloud and from any deices synced from iCloud.
Thank you so much, is it possible to not store the messages in iCloud but on every device instead?
Unfortunately with iCloud its an all or nothing approach. You either allow it to backup all Messages or you turn off backup and it's all stored locally on your phone.
