What exactly did the display show?
If i plug the ipod in it just constantly tries to boot up. The apple logo disappears and shows constantly
Boot looping, it’s stuffed.
what do you mean with stuffed?
Something is wrong with the system. It needs a repair
thank you, thats sad..
seems like a faulty battery, how long didnt you use it?
long maybe 2,5 years or longer
then its the battery
Cant be fixed
Oké
you could fix it by replacing the battery but thats almost impossible on an ipod
Boot looping isn’t a battery fault
It’s a problem with the motherboard
nope, if you dont charge a device for years the battery is faulty and cant provide enough power for the device to boot, happened many times on some of my devices
i encountered the same issue with ipad 2 that i tried booting up last year after 9 years.
you need to enter recovery mode
He said it happens when it’s on the charger too
after recovery, you need to update your device to the latest OS
which i guess would be iOS 9
once this is done, your ipod should boot up
just restoring may not work
This should help https://youtu.be/2CRilTPouRU
Here’s what to do if your device has a frozen screen, doesn't respond when you touch it, or becomes stuck when you turn it on.

doesnt matter, if they battery is faulty it bootloops
if ipad 2 can restart, which dropped in 2012 i guess, ipod 2015 definitely should
Today we unbox a brand new, sealed, never before touched iPhone 6S Plus- running iOS 9 in gold with 16gb, it's pretty cool... or would be if it worked. Let's try to fix it!
