I recently dropped my iphone 12 pro into a toliet bowl like extremely briefly and barley any of the phone was in it. Now my phone restarts every 3-5mins and its becoming really frustrating. Ive googled stuff like 100 times and cant find anything. Any ideas? I also get a screen message in settings saying its not apple product or is put in improperly which wasnt there before i dropped it.

Yeah. I’d recommend taking it into apple before the water inside does anymore damage

iphones are generally quite resilient to drops and water damage? have you replaced any parts? its possible the seal may not have been re-fitted correctly and water has gotten under the screen connector or into the screens logic board. if youre able to take the screen off and give the screen logic board and both sides of the connector a wipe down with alchohol it might fix it. just be careful to not get any under the actual glass because it could damage the screen. (yes the screen is sealed, but alcohol can dessolve the adhesive)

might be worth checking the water damage indicators on the phones logic board while youre there, this will confirm water damage, if theyre white it means water wasnt the issue and may be covered under apples warrenty, even without apple care

12 pro is ip68 certified which means it can go upto 6m for 30 mins. I don’t think water is the problem unless phone was opened earlier, for some repairs. In any case if it’s a physical damage, pls visit your nearest apple store.

Also, is true tone working?

U should go to a repairing store

The hit might affected some cable or part position inside that triggers this message definitely not water unless as mentioned it has been in a 3rd party shop repair where they didn’t replace the seal , either ways Apple Store or official certified repairing store is your best solution
