Yeah but you get the profit of it when the game is almost done anyway
well now the upgrade is an almost 2x buff instead of 10x
and the other upgrades now each double souls instead of +20%, +15%, and +50%
(which the players gradually pick up as they play the game)
I postponed getting the 20m fire kills and now it gonna take 5x the time 😭

all I want is enemy kills to remain the same
I m with marcel on that one , i was good , it was good for the last 4 years i played, and now i m thinking that its gonna be enough to make me uninterested in the game
it was op, with that i agree. but you cant just nerf it to hell without giving some alternative.
Is the alternative not the souls buffs that were given?

hasn't been a new goal to aim for in over a year
when clearance was added, it already wasn't much of a hurdle

again, offline is still far stronger than it was when this goal was added

A way of nerfing kills + materials but not offline soul gains for late game players who want to (maybe pointlessly) keep stacking USP would be to add another +30% offline soul bonus (or similar) upgrade.
Could even make it an expensive one to add a sense of progression on late game.
Or we can just come to the conclusion that after 140 USP nothing really matters and stop playing 😅

I'm not getting like 20 soul bonuses per day, with compass and shards necklace and pills
so, present day
Let's say someone has a awful RNG
Plays all day and gets 3 soul bonuses
Idle is a safety net that you're gonna make progress anyway
The safety net should be at least somewhat of about 10-15% in comparison to a very good RNG
Like I said, I don't play enough to get that or six times that many (which is probably how much effort it would take for online play to be better)
so I just... Wouldn't.

Like. With overcharge I still found myself having better results with rage+ souls
But only when I get soul boosts
Which happens rarely
like, I'd get a soul bonus and get maybe 4-5 Qi SP
and I got a little over 200 Qi every day offline
so even with a -30% nerf, 140 Qi every day still beats a lot of... wait what the hell. That's more than seventy soul bonuses.
Math ain't mathing
Even with 100% offline focused stone distribution I get around 100qa per day
But with a even distribution I get around 300qa with a single soul boost
Also. I don't get what's the main target of the nerf
Nerfing offline soul and materials near endgame would feel more reasonable than nerfing the kill time
And something that I have to note here
I feel like this nerf is like dark shot. Its way slower but stronger. And many people don't care about souls. Just the feeling of killing a lot of enemies. And just vibing
And to another thing. Many people focus on offline because they can't play Active enough to make it worth it
I mean the main target of the nerf is probably how many enemies are killed which is why that was decreased and soul rate was buffed to compensate
Then why not making it equal soul gains?
Also, the new gear should really focus on rage mode too

We just went through that
on top of that, it's an unfair comparison because you get those rewards offline without the use of any items
so it's worth way more than mentioned above
offline is still very cracked, even for just souls
