#Option to randomize skins

There's a lot of characters but jos skins always seem to go to Anna and Roy, because they're unlocked by default I guess? But that means all of your skins are stuck to a couple of characters, and then you're only choosing to see one skin at a time. At least for me, needing to manually switch skins means I end up sticking to one and never see most of this art. Could characters have checkboxes on the selection screen that makes them switch to a random skin and palette after using a portal (and/or on loading the game, but portal seems more fun)? I expect it'd increase sales too because it'd stop people from feeling like a skin would never get used.

For the same reasons, it'd also be nice to have another checkbox to randomize the characters themselves - players on the rare character-specific quests could just disable it for a bit.

For holiday buffs, they could either passively be always-on for the duration if you own the active skins (which would be cool in itself), or again players could disable randomization for it.

edit: Actually dark divinities could be used to turn it on and off I guess, like one for random skin/palette and one for random character. Then there's no need for interface changes.

Ok so event skins that are jos there are shovel knight and AOT for holidays yes anna and roy get a lot but u have nutcracker for Christmas

#

This would not be a heavily used feature as it can mess with someones pre-selected character and them forgetting why

#

People who want to try finish the game asap or play on specific days this would be a issue for

#

Forcing players who own a skin to wear it would anger people who want to use a specific skin and randomisation would have to already be in the game which is unlikely

also if you want to use a specific skin/character you'd just not pick random, as said. If you do choose random and then can't figure out why your character is randomly changing, that's not a game issue. It'd also be very obvious when enabled, as opposed to dark divinities etc

it's not a skin now is it

the point is, making a skin purchasable for a character that has to be unlocked causes issues because they need to be unlocked
Hence, Anna and Roy have paid skins because they're available from the moment you first open the game.
Kristof is an otherwise unobtainable character that can only be unlocked by paying p2w in the shop, same for Azure and Haskell.
