I've noticed that this specifically only happens after buying the unlock. I won't be able to use the bow right after buying the book. Once I restart the game, though, the bow will work again, and keep on working until Ultra Ascension, and then rinse and repeat.
Not sure if this has been posted before but I did a quick search and couldn't find anything about it

Yeah you had me thinking then, that's probably it lmao I was just trying to use it with boost without stability - probably the issue here
