Hey so, I was trailing a Chest Hunt Key and some Soul Ascension boots. The Chest Hunt Key went first, and I got a Shield Chest from it. Then, the boots immediately kicked me into an Ascending Heights, so I wasn't able to get the Shield Chest at all, even after i completed the Ascending Heights. I'm not entirely sure if this is a bug or me getting really bad luck, but I just thought I would put it here.

Also: I checked my inventory after the ascending heights and the shield wasnt there.

it s always like this . use DD to avoid AH is the only solution

AH teleports you to 'another dimension' so it erases everything on the current - keys/shields/portals

make armory chests automatically opened when going through a portal

or in this case
touching some magical boots
