So far in my playing of the game, I have noticed there is no way to quickly correct your jump after, say, jumping when there are foes or a random box is below you. So this idea is to add a shield slam that would basically instantly return you to the ground. This is triggered by a button next to the dash, and has a longish cooldown. It is not be an instant tp but a VERY fast slam down, and activates things like random boxes below you. Looking at upgrades in the long run like slayer points, you could add a thing like a damaging shockwave when slamming down, hurting giants and taking out ground foes you jumped over. Another upgrade could be making the slam cooldown be reduced by 0.01% for each shield upgrade you have, adding yet another reason to upgrade your shield, just like sword's soul edge. The last slayer point upgrade idea I have is slam slowdown, which makes random box events activated by the slam last 40% longer.
Note: This adds a new button activated ability, not a passive.
Note 2: The slam will also let you catch a giant if you partly jump over it! (Just had the thought myself)
