#Daily 'bonus stage' quest rerolls into itself

Plenty of ways to fix this:
- Bonus stage daily quest cannot reroll into other bonus stage daily quest
- Upgrade after 'Flawless': Completing a BS section flawlessly now counts as 2 sections for quests (similar to collateral). Completing an entire BS flawless counts as 2 completions.
- Rework the quest to require 3-4 flawless sections or 1 flawless clear.
I like the second option most, because it lets you complete the quest faster / more efficiently as long as you got gud.
The temp craftable to force a bonus stage is not an option, it's way too costly for 1 daily quest
Another way to address this is by saying, "If today you don't have time to play two bonus stages, today you don't complete one of your daily quests."
I've had to come to grips with that. But... not playing the game sometimes results in not getting the rewards.
The problem with 2 bonus stages is that it can take anything between 30 seconds and never to show up. So you don't know ahead of trying if you have the time or not

Always a smart idea
so bonus stages can actually be completed super duper fast! there is a temp craft item that makes the next box into a special box, meaning for a few resources you can expedite finishing it and wrap it up within 5mins
that does require weekly quests and imo isn't really the best way to handle it
i didnt say it was the best way, im just saying if you progress to a certain point you can do it in 5 mins and completely remove the random factor.
you can also purchase the divinity to force a bonusstage every 8 hours of offline and will have potentially 3 chances each only taking a few minutes without needing anything except 120 dp to spare. would need set in advance, but there are already ways around having to be active and needing good rng to complete quickly.
Hey guys, maybe read the top post before jumping in the thread?
The problem resides in the daily quest asking for 2 BS, so you either give up ninja/ip to get a second special promise, or chance it and possibly end up waiting for RNG a frustratingly long time.
It's the only daily to really be hampered that way, so getting around that with skilled play seems appropriate
specialization does help though, to be fair. No waiting, no RNG.
bs boxes arent that rare
It doesn't really, the expected return on scales per egg is 2,04 and specialization costs 2 scales and a simurgh feather, so that's a big net loss
Dog, what if there was an upgrade that reduced special promise to 6 hours? I feel that would be a worthwhile tweak.
I didn't say anything about the cost. Just, it's an option.

I reroll multiple BS quests all the time, my issue is that complete 8 sections can reroll into complete 2 stages, it's either programmed as 2 different types of quests or reroll allows you to get the same type of quest again.
Both seem lame to me
Anyway, I didn't mean for this to be blown so out of proportion.
My main issue with this very minor gripe is not that BS are too rare or rerolling into the same quest is unfair.
The issue I have is that this is an inconsistency in quality. The rest of the game is so good, you kinda feel like this was a little overlooked in the design phase. The other "long" daily quests can be shortened with skill (get 6 free random boxes if you flawless the BS), or upgrades (savers for CH push up average # of chests per CH, boost CD on coin collection makes you chain boosts really fast, ...), but this one stays so very RNG dependant
