I think this would be a nice addition to the skin, and very fitting for the ability, since both Propeller Dagger and Wind Dash have very similar behaviour

I don't have wind dash
so I don't know if wind dash has special animation

as far as i'm aware normal characters don't have a special animation (or at least something that would actually stand out) but shovel knight skin is different and unique enough to where it would make logical sense
plus, an extra nod to the shovel knight series with one of the usable items from that game would be nice
