I've noticed in the latest version (v 5.1.9) an issue where, in the jungle and modern city both, when you buy the upgrades to start spawning giant gorillas or wererats, that the giants don't spawn unless you restart the game first. After restarting they start spawning as normal.

i saw someone qustioning on #just-getting-started how to unlock giants cuz there isnt any spawning after buying the upgrade (reseting the game helped) so i think this bug is about every single giant

I noticed the same problem, and it's still happening. I was able to solve it by entering the village, and returning to the map, that way the giants reappeared.

Yeah I ultra ascended and was waiting ages for a giant to spawn so gave up and closed the game then of course reopening it later had the going again
Even wasted materials on a 300% spawn rate temp item thinking I was just ridiculously unlucky

Seeing this as well. Any portal, or closing/reopening the game seems to fix the issue.

When you purchase an evolution for a giant like the charged adult yeti, that also causes the giants to spawn, but that would obviously only apply to the adult yeti and hills giant as they're the only ones that have evolutions.

I had the same issue with Adult Yetis and it happened right after i used 3 staffs and shards necklace 😐

Yup. Happening to me to. Had no giants spawning in the desert (even got a Mega Horde with 0 giants), restarted the game and now they're showing up again.

Just verified, this is fixed in 5.1.10. You both commented that Steam doesn't have the update yet, so let's keep that issue to that thread.
