I'm trying to log in on another device but I dont remember my password. I can't create a new password because when I initially put in my email, I entered it as .cpm instead of .com so I cant get an email sent to change my password. Is there a way to resolve this issue? If this is not the correct place to voice this could I be guided to the correct place.

What you can do is go into your options then click change account from there you just register new user with the correct email and then use 
to save the game to cloud and close
Because your game is saved locally it will use that local save to the new account so your progress will transfer over

Its been on the "uploading to cloud and closing" screen for over 10 minutes now. Is that normal?

Use task manager to close it
Sometimes that will happen where it gets stuck your progress will still be saved I would just close that way again before logging in on your new device
