I bought 125 
through Google play, bought the Shovel Knight Skin, then after a couple minutes saved and closed. Now where I think I went wrong was immediately going to open the game on Steam so I could monitor it easier while I worked, it didn't have the purchases synced yet, and when I tried to alt-f4 to give it time, it re-synced, and totally ate my purchase.
I tried emailing the Dev but I'm sure it got lost in the shuffle, was told by friends to try messaging here.
